Since joining Alcon in 2012, Nishant Maller has contributed meaningful work to a variety of projects. Initially hired as a surgical marketing intern, he wrote launch and training plans for Contoura Vision as part of Alcon’s FDA submission for Conducted LASIK. From there, Maller was promoted to a marketing communications project specialist.

In 2016, Maller was selected to join Alcon’s inaugural surgical patient engagement team. In this position, he helped develop and execute a 24-month cataract patient customer relations management program and was instrumental in the launch of the company’s first surgical patient group on Facebook. 

In his current position as a senior brand manager, Maller manages a portfolio of more than 10 product lines and is responsible for designing data-driven, digital-friendly marketing strategies that align with shifting customer dynamics. 

Outside of the office, Maller has a number of hobbies that he practices competitively, including horse riding and endurance running. From 1998 to 2003, he placed as a national/regional equestrian champion and competed in show jumping from 2008 to 2011. In 2012, he placed in the top 10 in the Hill Country 25 Mile endurance race.

From there, his focus shifted to ballroom dancing. Starting in 2014, he has consistently placed in the top five in local, national and international ballroom dancing championships organized by Arthur Murray and Dance With Me Dance Studios.
