Johnson & Johnson/LifeScan scored an FDA nod last week for its new glucose monitoring system: OneTouch VerioSync. VerioSync is the first device which automatically sends glucose data wirelessly via Bluetooth to an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch through its OneTouch Reveal mobile app.

Havas Health is merging its two London health marketing shops, Havas Life and H4B. The combined agency will be called H4B London and will be led jointly by Havas Life London managing director Claire Dobbs and H4B London managing director Brad Sellars, who report to Havas Health Europe CEO Ben Davies. The two shops, said Havas Health chiefs Donna Murphy and Doug Burcin, “have truly complementary skills and expertise, and no client conflicts. Strategically, it makes sense to merge these two great agencies into one optimized London agency that will continue to partner with key existing clients, but also has the strongest base for future growth.” Havas Health has two other agencies in the UK – Havas Life Medicom and Havas Lynx. In other Havas news, the company launched a new logo for H4B “designed to better represent the unified, global offerings of the young, energetic H4B network.”
