With the 2008 MM&M Awards just hours away, the excitement is building.

Upwards of 750 top healthcare marketing and communications execs will don black ties, tuxes, capes and cocktail dresses for the industry’s most glamorous and meaningful awards this evening. They’ll converge on Tavern on the Green in Central Park, where they’ll sip cocktails and mingle with colleagues and competitors before taking their seats for the night’s festivities—a sumptuous meal, a double-helping of suspense and a celebration of the best marketing in the business. Then they’ll retire to the bar for the Afterglow party, some clutching Awards, others a drink and the promise of a shot at the gold next time around.  

 
Emceed by comedian Elon Gold, the MM&M Awards 2008 ceremony will recognize exceptional creativity and marketing effectiveness in healthcare across multiple channels. This year we received a record number of 830 entries. Only 24 of those entrants can claim Gold Awards, another 24 Silver Awards. 
The finalists are listed here. The winners will be revealed at tonight’s ceremony and posted on mmm-online.com at 11pm.
