Microsoft hired FDA Office of Device Evaluation director Donna-Bea Tillman. Tillman, who has previously worked as a physiologist at the US Consumer Product Safety Commission and a biomedical research software developer at Johns Hopkins, will head regulations and policy for Microsoft’s health IT efforts.
Pfizer named Kristin Peck to succeed William Ringo as SVP, worldwide business development, strategy and innovation after Ringo retires at the end of April. Peck, who joined Pfizer in 2004, recently played a leadership role in the integration of Wyeth’s global operations while serving as SVP worldwide strategy and innovation. Ringo joined Pfizer in April 2008, having recently left Lilly after 28 years there.
