Full-service marketing research firm CMI has launched a new brand platform that focuses on the company’s ability to impact clients’ business.
The rebranding effort includes a new tagline—“Relevant research that drives results”—and a new website, www.cmiresearch.com. According to Angela Wells, VP, sales and marketing, CMI tweaked internal operations in keeping with the new brand. “We have formed a new client services team, and as a result, all of our account management and project management teams—approximately one-third of the company—now report into the SVP of business strategy,” said Wells. “By combining these two [previously separate] groups, we believe we will be able to satisfy our client needs quicker and with fewer procedures. This new team focuses our efforts on our clients’ results, regardless of the functional role of our employees who service the clients.”
In addition to Sciele Pharmaceuticals, Kaiser Permanente, Capital Blue Cross and others, CMI works with “one of the nation’s leading pharmaceutical companies, with several brands over $1 billion in annual sales,” said Wells. “We also work with one of the largest generic drug manufacturers.”
CMI, based in Atlanta, has 43 employees, with satellite offices in New York, North Carolina, Iowa and Colorado. The company’s new brand was developed through a partnership with Atlanta-based MAX20.
