The editorial team of MM&M announces a call for nominations for its first-ever compilation of the Top 40 Healthcare Transformers. The finalists will be announced and profiled in the January 2015 issue of MM&M.

Exciting things are taking place in health tech. Health start-ups are bringing new solutions to such issues as medication adherence, care for the aged, and access to insurance coverage, as well as new areas like consumer genomics. A few forward-looking biopharma companies—on the path toward repositioning themselves as healthcare service companies—are outsourcing their innovation, partnering with these early-stage companies to beef up their R&D.

This feature is designed to help readers learn about what’s going on at the early stages of this market shift by identifying the disruptors and innovators who are transforming circa-2015 healthcare. The story will spotlight leaders at early-stage tech firms, and entrepreneurs devising new business models, as well as individuals from the realms of pharma, biotech, devices/diagnostics and digital health.

In addition, MM&M will celebrate its Top 40 Transformers at the first annual MM&M Transforming Healthcare Conference, scheduled for April 2015.

Individuals who wish to be considered as one of the Transformers should submit their nomination by November 15 below and include a high-resolution photo with their submission. For questions about the nomination process, please contact MM&M Senior Editor Larry Dobrow at [email protected]

UPDATE: Thank you for your interest. The nomination process for MM&M’s Top 40 Healthcare Transformers list is now closed. The final list will be posted to mmm-online.com on Jan. 1.
