Hall of Femme

Since 2016, MM&M’s annual Hall of Femme event has sought to tackle the most pressing issues facing women leaders in healthcare marketing, and this year’s installment was no exception. Highlights of our coverage range from keynote Dr. Vivian Pinn’s evidence-based exploration of the lack of women leaders in science and healthcare, to a panel on how women execs are paving the way for others. PLUS: A gatefold cover features members of this year’s class honored at the June event.

#ConvinceMeToVax

As the number of measles cases climbed throughout the country, MM&M called on medical marketers to submit campaigns designed to up vaccination rates. Our creative brief, issued via social media, resulted in no less than 99 submissions representing an unprecedented burst of creativity in the service of public health. Nobody has forgotten and not everybody has forgiven, but client and agency partners interviewed by MM&M largely believe that point-of-care outfit Outcome Health has put its recent past behind it. This is the definitive take on Outcome’s evolution from point-of-care pariah to community member in good standing. 

The MM&M Awards shortlist

The MM&M Awards shortlist reveals the top five finalists from each of the more than 30 categories in the program, spanning media and marketing, individual and team, as well as agency of the year. Gold and Silver winners will be announced at a black-tie ceremony the evening of October 10, 2019, in Manhattan.

Live at Cannes Wrap-Up

This year’s Cannes Lions Health awards convened against a backdrop of a three-year pharma Grand Prix hiatus and a big discrepancy between entries regulated and non. MM&M was on location in the Côte d’Azur to cover it all. Presented here are the most significant takeaways, including an analysis of the Grand Prix winners, reflections from members of the jury and much more.
