Epocrates has added two leaders in its commercial organization.

Andrew Johnson will serve as executive director, commercial strategy. The 15-year sales veteran moves from parent company Athenahealth, where he led the athenaPractice sales organization, and is tasked with doing the same for Epocrates. Johnson previously spent 12 years at GE Healthcare in various selling roles.

Bridget Seay, who joined Epocrates last month from medical publisher Wiley, will serve as executive director, customer experience and commercial consulting. A nearly 20-year industry vet, she led Wiley’s strategic growth, development and product lifecycle in its corporate partner solutions advertising portfolio.

The additions follow this year’s hiring of Matt Titus as VP and chief commercial officer, from Real Chemistry. At that time, Epocrates announced an intention to elevate the focus on its commercial business.
