JPA Health has tapped Tish Van Dyke as EVP, a role in which she will lead the agency’s public health and One Health services.

Van Dyke arrives with decades of experience in strategic communications and global health. She previously spent 22 years at Edelman, where she most recently served as global sector chair of food and beverage.

According to her LinkedIn page, Van Dyke led Edelman’s food and beverage sector through a transformation into a “forward-leaning, global business engine.” She also worked on the company’s food-related intellectual property.

After her Edelman tenure, Van Dyke was a founder of global network Fluid-Collective, a group of independent consultants that focused on communications-related business issues. She was also the founder and CEO of Twenty50 Strategies, where she helped brands and organizations establish leadership strategies and programs.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tish to the leadership team,” said JPA Health CEO Carrie Jones in a statement. “With her proven track record of excellence in counseling clients, mentoring staff and delivering strong results for companies, brands, government agencies and nonprofits, Tish will play a pivotal role in serving our clients and helping our team rise to even greater heights of success.”

Van Dyke has worked with a range of A-list clients, including Johnson & Johnson, Kaiser Permanente, Pfizer, Microsoft Health, Novartis, Walmart and Unilever.

In the statement, she noted that JPA Health “embodies so much of what I believe clients are looking for from agencies today — a health-centric, global agency with a dedicated team of experts who share the collective goal of helping people live healthier lives.”

“I have long admired how they are building relevant and impactful client offerings, so I’m thrilled to join this woman-owned, award-winning agency and look forward to being part of a world-class leadership team that is focused on developing talent, teams and offerings that meet client needs and are reflective of JPA’s client-focused, data-driven, omnichannel approach,” she continued in the statement.

Van Dyke arrived at JPA in the wake of a year that saw revenue grow nearly 40%, from $12.8 million in 2021 to $17.9 million in 2022, according to the MM+M Agency 100 2023. Last year, the company, known for its chatbox Gretel Trails , bolstered its leadership ranks with the additions of chief client officer Adam Pawluk and CFO Chris Sousa.
