Syneos Health U.S. PR has promoted Marcie Doser to head of influencer marketing.

In this new role, Doser will lead the expansion of the PR groups’ influencer marketing services and team, overseeing the newly launched internal influencer council. The council comprises more than 35 experts across Syneos Health Communications.

Over the last two years, Doser has been leading key client influence initiatives focused on brand and disease awareness, according to the firm. She has used this experience to create an approach that includes a team of experts in digital and social analytics, behavior, paid media and creative social strategy.

Doser is a 16 year veteran of Syneos’ U.S. PR group, having first joined Chandler Chicco Agency in 2008. During her tenure, she led accounts for brands including Coca-Cola, Allergan, Merz Aesthetics, Pfizer’s COVID vaccine portfolio and Sanofi vaccines.

Doser most recently served as a senior leader at Syneos subsidiary Biosector 2. Prior to Syneos, she held stints as an account executive at Hill & Knowlton and marketing and public relations coordinator at the University of Rochester, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Syneos Health Public Relations is a subset of Syneos Health Communications. Syneos Health went private last September via a $7.1 billion all-cash transaction with a cohort of private equity firms, including Elliott Investment Management, Patient Square Capital and Veritas Capital. Its clients include Johnson & Johnson and biotechnology company Geron.

The agency merged its U.S. PR unit’s corporate communications, reputation and risk management and social impact groups to create a corporate affairs practice in February.

Syneos Health PR reported a revenue increase of 11% to $116 million globally and $88.8 million in the U.S. in 2022, according to PRWeek’s 2023 Agency Business Report.
