Summit Health has named Jeffrey Alter as CEO, effective October 4. He succeeds Dr. Jeffrey Le Benger, who becomes executive chairman to the management company’s board, in the role. Alter was previously EVP of Anthem Health Solutions and president of IngenioRx, Anthem’s pharmacy unit.
“It’s unbelievable how much we’ve achieved in the past two years particularly during the extraordinary events of the COVID-19 pandemic, and how our company continues to evolve,” said Le Benger in a statement. “I’m excited about the next chapter for the business under Jeff Alter’s leadership.”
