Justin Freid has been promoted to chief growth and innovation officer at CMI\Compas. Previously, Freid was EVP and launched the media agency’s growth and innovation practice. He has been with the firm since 2013.
Imre Health names medical, scientific affairs lead
Shane McDevitt has joined Imre Health as director of medical and scientific affairs. Previously, McDevitt was with Digitas Health where he worked on the medical team.
Beghou Consulting hires analytics VP
Janardhan Vellore has joined life sciences consulting firm Beghou Consulting as VP. He will help grow the firm’s analytics capabilities and technology solutions. Previously, he held leadership roles at Bayer and Novartis.
Amag names CEO
Scott Myers has been appointed president and CEO of Amag Pharmaceuticals. He will also serve as a member of the board. Myers succeeds William Heiden. He previously served as CEO of Rainier Therapeutics and Cascadian Therapeutics.
Ad Council names board members
Matt McNally, CEO of Outcome Health, was named to the board of directors of the Ad Council. Ad Council also named 17 other new board members, including leaders from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Wunderman Thompson, TikTok and Washington Post.
Anika Therapeutics appoints CEO
Cheryl Blanchard was named president and CEO of Anika. Dr. Blanchard has served as interim CEO of Anika since February 2020 and as a member of the company’s board of directors since 2018.
