SensisHealth names managing director
Sharon Carothers has been promoted to managing director of SensisHealth, leading the company’s health practice. Previously, she was managing director of SensisDC. Earlier in her career, she held roles at Lewin Group, the Truth Initiative and Booz Allen.
PMA appoints marketing chief
Shari Beagelman has joined PR and marketing firm PMA as chief marketing officer. Previously, Beagelman spent more than 20 years in the pharma, wellness and PR industry at companies including Havas Health PR, Eisai and Hill + Knowlton.
Amag COO, CFO departs
Edward Myles, who served as chief financial and chief operating officer at Amag Pharmaceuticals has left the company. Anthony Casciano has been appointed COO and Brian Piekos, SVP of finance, has been appointed interim CFO.
Dendreon appoints CEO
Jason O’Neill has been named CEO of Dendreon, a cancer-focused pharma company. Previously, O’Neill was chief executive at Iridium Therapeutics. He also led Sanofi’s oncology portfolio for six years.
LifeSci Partners hires executive consulting lead
Scott Janssen has been appointed managing director of LS Associates, LifeSci Partners’ new executive consulting service. Previously, Janssen was managing director of the Connor Group.
Bonum Health hires president
Ashton Maaraba has joined Trxade Group’s telemedicine practice, Bonum Health, as president. Previously, Maaraba was president of AshHealth, a healthcare market advisory firm located in Rochester, New York.
