Singer starts own shop
Stacey Singer, a three-decade veteran of WPP, has launched a consultancy called Stacey Singer Consulting. Previously, Singer was practice lead for vantage global client satisfaction at WPP, according to her LinkedIn account. She also worked at Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide.
Prime Therapeutics names Paulus CEO
Kenneth Paulus has been hired by Prime Therapeutics as president and CEO, effective May 7. He is currently executive adviser at Water Street Healthcare Partners, a private equity firm focused on healthcare. Previously, Paulus worked at Allina Health and Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates.
PatientPoint names Jennings digital chief
PatientPoint has named Bill Jennings as chief digital officer, overseeing proximity marketing and programmatic video services. Based in New York, he will also serve as an adviser for PatientPoint Digital Solutions for doctors’ offices, hospitals and local healthcare brands. Previously, Jennings was founder and CEO of PageScience and president of digital and programmatic at Accent Health.
Agnus joins Ajinomoto
Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services has hired Jean-Baptiste Agnus as VP of sales and marketing. He previously spent 13 years at Novasep, holding business development leadership roles in Europe and the U.S.
Wagner takes CFO role at Vertex
Vertex Pharmaceuticals has named Charles Wagner as EVP and CFO, effective April 10. He will report to chairman, president and CEO Jeffrey Leiden and oversee the company’s finance, internal audit, investor relations, and global security and facilities operations. Wagner previously worked as CFO and EVP for finance at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics.
Dac moves to Alder BioPharmaceuticals
Alder BioPharmaceuticals has appointed Nadia Dac as chief commercial officer, effective April 8. She will report to president and CEO Bob Azelby. Dav previously worked at AbbVie, where she was VP of global specialty commercial development.
Chimerix brings on Sherman as chief executive
Chimerix has named Michael Sherman as CEO, effective immediately. He previously held the same role at Endocyte. Chimerix has also appointed Michael Andriole, former Endocyte CFO, to the newly created role of chief business officer. Endocyte was acquired by Novartis last December.
Peron joins Genmab
Genmab has named Marisol Peron as corporate VP for communications and investor relations, responsible for managing internal and external comms and IR. Peron was most recently VP of communications for North America at Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals.
