While the past year has presented unprecedented challenges in the form of a worldwide pandemic, we now see hope and a promising roadmap for the future. Throughout 2020, our industry has done a stellar job delivering COVID specific content and updates that have been helpful and informative to patients and practices alike. Curious to find out what type of content resonated best with our partners, we at Health Media Network began to conduct outreach on the subject. Not surprisingly, COVID and health content remain important, but what our patients and practices asked for is additional content that is more lifestyle oriented. 

These important insights coupled with an ongoing rebrand were just the beginning of the evolution and reimagining of what life after COVID might look like for the Health Media Network and PetCareTV brands. This evolution will focus on the idea that every wellness visit matters — for everyone — from patients to practices, to care givers and advertisers alike. Our goal is to make every visit great.

To bring our vision to life, we knew that we needed an amazing partner with a similar vision. Luckily for us, we found the perfect match in Meredith. Earlier this year, we began discussions with the Meredith team to explore opportunities. In October, our strategic alliance was announced. This alliance brings the depth of Meredith’s best-in-class, iconic media brands and ability to program against key lifestyle moments such as food, fitness, wellness, and entertainment. By bringing our two companies together through the alliance, we are creating value across the board for practices, patients and our advertisers from both endemic and non-endemic categories. Value is present in the form of premium content, multi touch-point media campaigns, and the ability to integrate new and exciting product offerings.

The ongoing efforts of the alliance will be in-market starting in January of 2021. Our carefully curated and programmed video network and additional media platforms can now align as 360 campaigns, including Health Media Network and PetCareTV screens, wallboards and mobile platform and Meredith Targeted Media Health cover wraps, discussion guides and branded digital platforms.

With 2021 fast approaching, we are excited for the future and look forward to an exciting year ahead.
