Former Biosector 2 US MD Jeanine O’Kane was named inVentiv Health PR Group’s US MD.
The promotion means O’Kane will lead US PR operations, counsel clients, and “introduce new approaches to a broadening portfolio of healthcare clients,” according to a company statement. The role is new to the firm, which encompasses Allidura Consumer, Biosector 2, Chamberlain Healthcare PR, and Chandler Chicco Agency.
Previously, O’Kane was the North American director of healthcare at MSLGroup and EVP and director of the New York healthcare practice at Ogilvy PR, according to LinkedIn.
Julie Adrian, who formerly led Chandler Chicco on the West Coast, was also promoted to a new role, as Chandler Chicco’s US MD, where she will helm the offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington.
Biosector 2 veteran Shauna Keough succeeds O’Kane as MD. Before joining the firm, Keough was an SVP in Porter Novelli’s global health practice.
Former EVP of Edelman’s Western region healthcare practice, Lisa Waters, is now MD of Chandler Chicco Agency West, which spans Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco.
The firm “reorganized from an inVentiv persective,” Lisa Stockman, president of communications at inVentiv Health, said nearly a year ago, after Chandler Chicco Companies CEO Bob Chandler retired in June 2014.
