MM+M today launched the 2023 version of its Agency 100 ranking of North America’s top medical marketing companies.

Organizations that wish to be considered for the Agency 100 are asked to share information about their 2022 financial results and client and brand relationships. This data, compiled via the Agency 100 survey, will inform the selection of this year’s Top 100 and Ones to Watch honorees.

Features returning in 2023 include the Agency 100 revenue/staff size chart, profiles of the Top 100 medical marketing agencies, the Ones to Watch feature on up-and-coming firms and an updated version of MM+M’s Agency Family Tree.

“2022 saw unprecedented growth and change in the medical marketing agency space. New brands emerged, while existing ones united or took on private equity investment,” said MM+M editor-in-chief Larry Dobrow. “We’ll chronicle it all in our Agency 100 presentation, highlighting the year’s top performers and offering a roadmap to the agency world’s evolving competitive dynamics.”

The survey deadline for Top 100 consideration is Wednesday March 1 at 9 p.m. ET. MM+M can accept completed questionnaires until Wednesday March 8, but the Top 100 will likely be finalized before then.

Last year MM+M invited Agency 100 honorees to create their agency book cover, which followed 2021’s movie posters and 2020’s album covers. This year, MM+M is inviting honorees to design their company’s concert t-shirt image. Details about specs and formats will be shared at a later date.

Agency 100 content will be published across MM+M’s digital channels on Monday, June 12, and in the June 2023 print edition of MM+M. Agencies selected for a Top 100 profile will be contacted by an MM+M reporter by the end of March.
