Endo Pharmaceuticals announced that David Holveck has been named president, CEO and a director of the company, effective April 1, 2008. Holveck was most recently president of Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation and VP, corporate development of J&J. He was formerly president and CEO of Centocor, until the acquisition of that company by Johnson & Johnson in 1999.
Juvaris BioTherapeutics announced that Grant Pickering has been appointed CEO replacing Martin Cleary, who founded the company in February 2003. Pickering will also be elected to the company’s board of directors. Prior to joining Juvaris, Pickering founded Pharmada, where he served as president and CEO.

Healthcare information and education company Reach MD has hired Andy Reid, former InfoMedics VP of US pharma sales, as VP of sales and business development. Reid’s duties will include managing sales and business development, marketing and communications sponsorships and continuing Reach MD’s medical education agreements.
