Last year, Collette Douaihy and her Dentsu team were awarded the Pharma Lions Grand Prix at Cannes for the acclaimed Scrolling Therapy campaign in support of the Parkinson’s disease patient population. The experimental app is designed to enable users to control their scroll on social media using facial expressions, as well as exercise their muscles in an attempt to possibly delay the hallmarks of the incurable neurodegenerative disease. Not surprisingly, Douaihy will be back at Cannes this year as Pharma Lions president. Prior to joining Dentsu, Douaihy held creative leadership positions at Evoke and Digitas Health, handling work for blue-chip healthcare brands like AbbVie, Sanofi Pasteur and Gilead Sciences.
