Atropos Health, a leading physician consultation service, announced Thursday morning that it is teaming with OMNY Health, a healthcare data ecosystem.

The partnership aims to use Atropos Health’s AI and machine learning capabilities to “unlock novel insights from the de-identified data shared by participants” within OMNY Health’s network, the companies said in a joint press release.

The alliance is expected to enable data activation across both Atropos Health’s and OMNY Health’s platforms by turning real world data into “usable insights.” Additionally, clients of both companies will be able to use Atropos Health’s Green Button consulting technology to provide real-world evidence responses, known as Prognostograms, to clinical questions in under 48 hours.

“Atropos is a catalyst from medical data to actionable evidence. When paired with OMNY’s data ecosystem, the opportunities are remarkable,” Atropos CEO Brigham Hyde, Ph.D., said in a statement. “We will be able to generate insights that do not exist in current medical literature. Making this accessible at scale can lay the groundwork for medical breakthroughs, scientific discoveries, and informed care decisions that save lives.”

In addition to OMNY Health, Atropos Health recently unveiled partnerships with several other healthcare organizations, including the Mayo ClinicSyntegra, and CancerLinQ.

Notably, Atropos Health was named by MM+M last year as one of the 10 startups vying to do what Watson Health couldn’t in the industry.

The company was founded in late 2020, spun off from Stanford University and has raised an undisclosed amount of funding. In 2021, Atropos Health signed a two-year agreement with Stanford Health Care to support its clinical decision-making capabilities across more than 2,000 affiliated physicians.

For its part, OMNY Health recently finished a $17 million Series B funding round and added Dr. Vance Vanier, MD, a co-managing partner of Chicago Pacific Founders, to its board of directors.

“Our mission is to free data from silos and allow it to be shared, analyzed, and transformed into life-saving treatments and better care for patients,” OMNY Health CEO Mitesh Rao said in a statement. “Life science organizations and providers often struggle with time and budget constraints that hinder their ability to learn from their data. The work Atropos and OMNY are doing can unblock this process by providing on-demand answers to pressing medical questions.”
