We asked for season’s greetings and well wishes from the medical marketing community and you delivered holiday cheer – in droves.

Check out the holiday cards, videos and messages we received from several 2023 MM+M Agency 100 honorees, healthcare brands and other notable medical marketing and communications shops over the past few weeks.

Entrée Health

Klick Health

The 2023 MM+M Agency 100 honoree put a twist on the traditional office Secret Santa, surprising employees with gifts and trips galore.

Based on responses to the question “What makes you happy?” on the company’s Slack channel, Klick decided to make some of those wishes come true.

Among the presents handed out were tickets to a Broadway show, travel to a Liverpool F.C. match, a family trip to Disney World and a skydiving experience. The three-minute long video shows the stunned reactions of employees who are exhilarated by receiving personalized gifts from the agency.

The FDA Office of Minority Health and Health Equity

“The FDA Office of Minority Health and Health Equity wishes you and your loved ones a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season. We extend our deepest gratitude for your support throughout 2023 as we worked to advance health equity and protect the health of diverse populations. We look forward to continuing these efforts in the New Year.  Stay in touch with us by signing up for the Health Equity Update, our biweekly newsletter that includes relevant and interesting events, articles, and information related to racial and ethnic minority health issues and health equity.”

Hale Advisors

“2023 was busy at Hale Advisors, but we made time for one of our core values: having fun!

This holiday season, we’re reflecting on another key part of our mission: giving back. Since day one, we’ve committed to donating 1% of our revenue to initiatives driving change in our community. We’re thrilled to announce The Trevor Project and Ulster Immigrant Defense Network are this year’s recipients.

We’re excited to see where our mission takes us in 2024.

We wish you Happy Holidays and a New Year free from all probllamas! (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)”

Merryman Communications

“Add a little merriment to your day and watch our gnomies in a fun, short video!”

Curator24

“The Curator24 team takes pride in our commitment to support Mental Health America, an organization that advances the mental health and well-being of all people living in the U.S. through public education, research, advocacy and public policy, and direct service.

Mental health is fundamental for a long, productive, and fruitful life and yet more Americans than ever struggle with anxiety, depression, and other mental challenges. Shockingly, over half of adults with mental health illnesses remain without the treatment they require, while more than 60% of young individuals with depression lack access to essential care.

In lieu of conventional holiday gifts, Curator24 has chosen to make a meaningful gesture on behalf of our cherished partners. We’re thrilled to announce our donation to Mental Health America (MHA), a contribution that will directly impact the lives of 100 individuals, ensuring they receive the essential support and care they deserve.

As we enter this holiday season, we extend our warmest wishes to you and your family for a joyful and healthy celebration. May our collective efforts pave the way for a brighter and more compassionate future.”

Praxis

“Warm holiday wishes from your friends at Praxis!

As we head into the new year, we look forward to continuing to provide hope to patients with all kinds of indications.
With this in mind (and warmth in our hearts), Praxis has made a donation to CISCRP in your honor to help support their mission of educating everyone on the importance of clinical trial participation.”

Purpose Group

Omnicom subsidiary the Purpose Group didn’t have a holiday card but did something just as meaningful to mark the season.

The agency launched the inclusive book series, HospiTales, for the more than 100,000 children in hospitals.

Hospitales includes stories highlighting the meaning of Chanukah, Christmas and Kwanzaa, all illustrated, written and designed by employees at the Purpose Group. Printed versions of books are being donated by the agency to New York City-based hospitals and read-out-louds will be streamed online, while the books are also digitally accessible at HolidayHospiTales.com.

“So much of what we do every day leverages the power of storytelling on behalf of our clients. Now we get to use this expertise during the holiday time to bring thousands of smiles to kids and those who love them,” The Purpose Group chief creative officer Dina Peck said in a statement.

Real Chemistry

The 2023 MM+M Agency 100 honoree’s Hopefall: A One-of-a-Kind Visualization of the Sound of Hope launched this week in partnership with the American Cancer Society (ACS) to put a unique spin on a holiday campaign.

Hopefall is supported by the ACS Hope Lodge communities, which are locations across the country that cancer patients can stay for free during treatment courses. At these Hope Lodges, patients ring a “Hope Bell” when they’ve reached remission.

For their campaign, the Real Chemistry team wanted to build something around the literal sound of hope coming from the bells — and came across the idea of cymatics, or the study of the relationship between sound vibrations and physical space.
