AbelsonTaylor, a 2022 MM+M Agency 100 honoree, announced Tuesday morning that it has hired Dan “Ziggy” Zigulich to serve as SVP, director of integrated content and production.
In the new role, Zigulich will be tasked with accelerating the agency’s growth as well as the profitability of its production group. The agency is looking to provide full-service production capabilities to its client list.
Prior to AbelsonTaylor, Zigulich served as director of marketing and creative services at Northwestern Medicine, where he established the nonprofit healthcare organization’s full-service, in-house production studio.
Before Northwestern Medicine, he was VP of global creative marketing for Payless ShoeSource, an international discount footwear chain, as well as EVP and director of creative production services at Draftfcb Chicago (now FCB), an advertising agency.
He has also founded and led three production companies: Z Group films, El Grupo Zeta and Generator Inc. His advertising career began at Foote, Cone & Belding where he ultimately rose to the position of VP, management director.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Zigulich has served on the advisory board of the University of Kansas School of Business for a decade.
Zigulich will report to AbelsonTaylor’s EVP and chief creative officer Stephen Neale.

The agency was named to MM+M’s annual list of top medical marketing agencies in 2022 after an impressive 2021. Notably, the firm had revenues of $64.8 million, marking a 13% year-over-year increase, coupled with hiring 17 new staffers compared to 2020.
The Chicago-based advertising agency has carried the momentum of its year-end hiring sprees into 2023.
AbelsonTaylor announced Zigulich’s hire two weeks after naming Sharlene Jenner as VP of engagement strategy. In that position, Jenner will be charged with leading the agency’s engagement strategies through artificial intelligence enablement and other data-driven efforts.
