The Medical Advertising Hall of Fame announced its 2023 inductees Tuesday morning.

MAHF will induct Maureen Regan, founder of Regan Campbell Ward, as well as Sander Flaum, principal at Flaum Navigators.

Regan began her 30-year career as a nurse before transitioning to the role of a pharma salesperson. Regan is a trailblazer, having joined Lally, McFarland, Pantello and rising the ranks to become the first female president of a large healthcare agency.

Subsequently, Regan co-founded her own agency, Regan Campbell Ward, which serviced numerous major pharma companies like Johnson & Johnson, Novartis and Merck, among others.

Notably, Regan was a member of the inaugural class of MM+M’s Women of Distinction and established the Women’s Healthcare Leadership Forum.

For his part, Flaum worked in marketing at Lederle Laboratories for nearly two decades before joining the agency side of the industry in 1988. Flaum served as CEO of Euro RSCG Becker for 16 years, launching six brands and generating more than $2 billion in revenue. Following his time there, Flaum founded Flaum Navigators.

The gala awards dinner will be held on February 9, 2023 at The Pierre Hotel in New York City. MAHF will also honor Ron Souza, who was inducted in 2021 but was unable to attend the ceremony and passed away in June 2022.

Souza started his agency career at J. Walter Thompson and Rolf Werner Rosenthal before joining Ogilvy & Mather Advertising after it acquired RWR. He also had a stint in charge of Barnum Communications and as marketing director of a division of the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists.

Last year, MAHF inducted one person, Stacey Singer, a client retention and growth specialist.
