Market research agency Synovate Healthcare has hired Paul Villa as SVP, payer and market access research. Villa joins Synovate from Genactis, a global research based consultancy where he was VP responsible for leading US pricing and reimbursement projects.

Durata Therapeutics announced the formation of its senior leadership team, including Paul Edick as CEO, Corey Fishman as COO and Dr. Michael Dunne as chief medical officer. Edick has worked at Johnson & Johnson, G.D. Searle and Pharmacia; Fishman at Monsanto, Searle and Pharmacia; and Dunne at Pfizer.
