As a physician, medical technology entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of CheckedUp, Dr. Richard Awdeh has revolutionized the way doctors care for their patients. Awdeh’s passion for patient care extends far beyond CheckedUp. For four years, he has served as co-chair of the Point of Care Marketing Association, helping transform the organization into a North Star for the point-of-care channel and establishing its presence as a leading advertising association. A Yale Medical School alumnus, he currently is on the board of directors for Yale University’s Center for Biomedical Innovation and Technology, and lectures at the School of Management on healthcare innovation. Intent on keeping a direct contact with patients, Awdeh continues his work as a highly regarded cornea-refractive surgeon with the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
