1. Seventy-three percent of U.S. dermatologists received payments from drug companies in 2014, a new analysis found. Most of the payments were for less than $50, but some totaled as much as $93,633. (Reuters)
2. Area 23, Klick Health, Otsuka, and UnitedHealthcare took home the top prizes last night at the MM&M Awards. More than 900 people attended the black-tie event in New York. (MM&M)
3. IPG Mediabrands has created a new agency focused on only on healthcare and life sciences. The new agency, Healix, is led by Jeffrey Erb, a former EVP at Alliance Life Sciences prior to his Mediabrands tenure.
4. The CMS said that Mylan likely overcharged the government by misclassifying the EpiPen under Medicare pricing rules. The drugmaker has been criticized for hiking the price of the the allergy shot. (Bloomberg)
5. About 27% of metastatic melanoma patients in Europe do not have access to new drugs, some of which can cost $100,000 a year. (Reuters)
